Above Ground Installation

Some dog owners are still hesitant in purchasing electronic pet containment systems due to worries of the hassles of burying wires. We have the total solution to eliminate those difficulties with Underground Fencing.

Many people believe that the wire should be buried when using Underground Fence Systems. The method of buying wire is a traditional method done by many owners to simply avoid dealing with it over and over again. There’s another way to set up wire as boundary, and it is called Above Ground Installation.

Pet containment using the Underground pet containment systems will never be a problem again just because owners are renting a home, or don’t have any equipment to dig the soil or no one will do the digging. We are proud to offer our wire securing staples that will help owners lay the wire without digging the ground. Once these securing staples, are used, the wire will not be visible again after a good rain and the grass in the garden starts to grow. Certainly a better way of setting up the electronic pet containment systems

Here are the steps in using above ground installation for pet containment systems.

Step 1:

» First lay out the boundary wire in the desired shape and around the area owners want to contain. From the boundary wire run twisted wire to the transmitter and pug it in.
» Once owners have decided on the appropriate system, "Staple" the twisted wire to the ground by hammering in a wire "Staple" every 5 - 6 feet.
» Now stop and look at the wire. Is it completely flush to the ground all the way to the start of the boundary? The wire MUST completely touch the ground. If not go and "Staple" any raised areas before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2:

» Place a "Staple" where the twisted wire and the beginning of the boundary meet (if owners have a splice in this area please dig a small hole about 2 inches deep and bury the splice. Then place a "Staple" in the front of and behind the splice to relieve any pressure on the splice)
» Next, walk to the first corner of the boundary and "Staple" it to the ground. Repeat this step for all corners of the boundary. (Not all yards are square, if there are no corners on the boundary please select multiple anchor points for the wire)
» Now place staples as needed and make sure to staple any raised areas down until they are completely flush with the ground, for maximum safety for owners and the guests.
